Troubleshooting & Quick Fixes
If you’re experiencing trouble with your Canva templates or downloads, you’re in the right place. Most issues are small and can be fixed in under 30 seconds.

Issues in Canva
Problem: The template won’t open.
Fix:
- Refresh the page
- Make sure you're logged into Canva
- Try opening in an incognito window
- Try another browser (Chrome works best)
Problem: Canva says “This element is Pro.”
Fix:
Replace the element with a free one, OR upgrade to Canva Pro, OR pay for the element individually.
Problem: Fonts changed or look different.
Fix:
The original font may be a Pro font. Choose a free replacement.
Problem: PDF looks blurry.
Fix:
Always export as PDF Print, not “PDF Standard.”
Problem: Images look pixelated.
Fix:
Drag new images in from the left sidebar, or replace with higher-resolution options.
Problem: A template page is blank.
Fix:
Occasionally Canva glitches. Duplicate the page → delete the blank one → refresh.

Download Issues
Problem: My PDF didn’t download.
Fix:
- Try again using Chrome.
- Check your downloads folder.
- Disable your pop-up blocker temporarily.
Problem: I can’t find my download.
Fix:
Search your computer for any of the following:
creator, ccc, pdf, download, or the product title.
Problem: The link says “not found.”
Fix:
Email us immediately — links are backed up and easily re-sent.
